Why use BrickRoad Productions? First of all, we are an established professional company with professional actors, directors, writers, and technicians. Second of all, every show has been tried and tested so there is no need to worry whether or not the evening will go well. And third of all, our years of experience and training means we know how to make it a success. Is there a lot of work for me? NO! You arrange a location, dinner, and an audience and we provide everything else: the fun, the actors, costumes, props, music, clues, pencils and clue cards, timetables for the chef, and we'll even help you publicize it! We'll talk you through exactly what is going to happen and if you like, even come and visit you to make sure all your questions are answered. Do you need a stage? No. Our stage is where you are sitting! We have performed in everything from living rooms and small restaurants to banquet halls and hotels. We typically perform from the center of the room out or at the front, but we can work in whatever space is avilable. What would the show be about? We'll leave that one to you! We have multiple scripts to choose from, each tested and successfully tried to an audience. Do you have shows for both Small and Large groups? Yes. We have shows specifically designed and tailored for either small or large audiences. Do you do In-Home shows? Yes. We have shows perfectly suited and geared towards a small group of people who know each other and enjoy laughing together. We come right to your door so you can stay in the comfort of your own home. Do you have any Kid's Shows? Yes, we have several shows including children's versions of our own original comedies "Marry Me, Medieval" and "The Good, The Bad, and the Not Very Smart". In "The Good, The Bad, and the Not Very Smart" kids get involved and solve the mystery. We also have offer workshops! Is there a Minimum size audience you perform for? No. An audience is an audience and our job is to make them laugh. The ideal size of an audience is between 80 - 150, though keep in mind we have performed for as few as 12 and as many as 375. Will you help us with advertising? Though advertising decisions are up to you, we will help you get the word out. We will create customized flyers for your individual event to help insure a big turnout and a huge success. If you want us to, we'll even advertise the event on our website! How long do these Mysteries last? Scheduling your event is easy and it can be held any day or night of the week. We certainly suggest a weekend night to get your biggest draw. The performances run approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on audiece size, how responsive they are, etc. But if you have a limited time frame, then we will do everything in our power to stick to it. Do you rent out your Scripts? Yes. We have several original, hilarious and proven hit Murder Mystery scripts available. Each one has a cast of either 4 or 5 and can be performed with or without dinner in virtually any type of space. How does a typical night work? Shows are usually based around a 3-course dinner (but it can be more or less), action taking place between them making a full 3-act night of fun. For the actual mysteries, the audience fills out their individual clue cards during the dessert break, followed by the final act revealing the murderer. Anything else you can tell us? Our aim always is that our shows should be Fun. What this means is that even though a lot of our shows are murder mysteries, there is always a great amount of entertainment and especially comedy. Our nights are as enjoyable for the ones who only want to be entertained as for those who want to solve a mystery. How much do you Cost? The good news: We are very flexible and WE CAN WORK WITH ANY BUDGET! Dependant upon location and size of audience, costs typically range between $850.00 and $1,200.00, and that includes everything. We also offer a per person charge for individuals or companies worried about a possible bad turnout, which ranges from $11.00 - $12.00 per person. And when do we pay? Not until afterwards!
